Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
OnchainView has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. This page explains the little data that is processed when you use it.
Who is responsible
The controller is Tsunami Digital d.o.o., Bolnička cesta 34K, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, OIB 88115518559 (full details in the Impressum). Contact for any privacy question: info@tsunami-digital.com.
1. Visiting the site (hosting)
The site runs on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical connection data such as your IP address, browser user agent and the requested URL. We do not enable request logging and do not receive these data ourselves.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Processor: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), under its Data Processing Addendum. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Commission Decision (EU) 2023/1795) and the Standard Contractual Clauses (Decision (EU) 2021/914).
- Retention: only as long as Cloudflare needs them for delivery and security, under its own policies.
2. Looking up an address
When you enter a wallet address, our server requests its public transaction history from the provider for that chain and sends the result to your browser:
- Bitcoin: Blockchain.com (blockchain.info API)
- Ethereum: Etherscan (etherscan.io API)
- XRP Ledger: Ripple's public XRPL server (s1.ripple.com)
These providers receive the wallet address you looked up, but not your IP address, because the request comes from our server. We do not store your lookups. Responses may be cached for a short time to reduce load on the providers. The graph and statistics are calculated in your browser.
The address is also part of the page URL (for example /bitcoin?address=…), so it stays in your browser history and in any link you share.
3. Recent searches on your device
Your browser keeps your last five searched addresses in local storage (key onchainview_recent_searches) so you can reopen them. This never leaves your device. You can clear it through your browser settings (site data). We set no cookies.
4. Emailing us
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed, at the latest two years after the matter is closed.
5. Addresses and labels shown on the site
Blockchain transactions are public. OnchainView displays public on-chain data and, for a small number of well-known addresses (exchanges, mining pools, publicly identified figures), a label from public sources. If you believe an address or label relates to you and want it removed or corrected, write to info@tsunami-digital.com. We cannot change the blockchain itself.
6. External links
Share buttons and "view on explorer" links are plain links. Nothing is sent to those sites unless you click them. After you click, their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP, azop.hr).
Right to object: where we process data based on legitimate interest, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (GDPR Art. 21). Write to info@tsunami-digital.com.
We do not make automated decisions with legal effect about you. You are not obliged to provide any personal data to use OnchainView.
Changes
If we change how OnchainView handles data, we will update this page and its date.
